Radio Interview on BBC Surrey & Sussex

When Laura from The Royal Surrey Charity asked me if I would be prepared to speak about the #closertocare campaign on Danny Pike's BBC Surrey & Sussex Radio show I jumped at the chance. When they explained it would be happening in half an hour's time, I would have no idea what Danny would be asking me and it would be going out live I was less keen....! Still, I do love a chat so I decided to put on my big girl pants and man up to the challenge.

I was pretty nervous beforehand, but I hope I got the main points across. I don't usually try to make people cry (probably hard for a lot of you to believe considering I'm in HR) but if I could tug at the heart strings of just one person and they decided to donate after listening to the show, then mission accomplished.
