Rob's Father's Day Post - A Dad's view of SCBU

The Royal Surrey Hospital Charity asked Rob for his view about being a Dad in SCBU for a special fathers day post on their website. Everyone always thinks of the Mum's of special care babies but of course, it's a very emotional time for Dad's too.

Rob is a man of few words when it comes to emotion so it was really hard for me to read this post. He was my rock during our time in hospital and as a naturally upbeat and positive person I had just presumed that he was ok. Of course, what I hadn't realised is that it was probably even harder for him than me. He had both his wife and baby in hospital and as I was quite unwell with pre-eclampsia before Sienna was born he had been very worried about my health too.

I know I'm pretty biased, but what an amazing Daddy & husband, Sienna and I am so very lucky to have him.
